Commuting 101

This morning I rolled out of bed approximately at the time I was supposed to be leaving for class.
What better way to start the semester, but I digress.
After managing to find something to wear that didn't involve a hoodie or leggings, I grabbed my bag, ran downstairs, poured a cup of coffee, and stumbled out the door.
One of the first things you learn when commuting, is how to balance a coffee mug, eat a bagel, and drive at the same time. It is no easy task, particularly if you drive a manual, but even the most desperate of students can achieve this.
after traversing my roughly-twenty-minute commute, I pulled into the parking garage, slid some coins into the parking meter, and splashed my way through the rain to German class.
Anyway, my first day of classes went rather well. Last semester I had 5 classes in one day, and this semester I only have 2, so that makes a huge difference. I have a good feeling about this one.
I even celebrated by going to the campus coffeehouse.
