I'd been looking at you 
through a mirror 

and it wasn't until 
you walked away

that I realized how close
you had really been

but maybe now
I can see more clearly

    isn't this how it is?
    i'm not sure what you were thinking of exactly when you wrote this, what it means to you. But i do know what it reminds me of and holds a place in my life. and it's exactly what i've been feeling.
